Rising inflation makes its way into the Switzerland of Asia as consumer prices in Singapore pop 0.9% in December to an annualized rate of 4.6%. The central bank may tighten policy at its next meeting in April. Singapore's economy grew at a modest pace of 14.7% in 2010. EWS is unchanged.
