Methanex (MEOH -2.1%) says it has secured further long-term gas supplies in New Zealand, which equate to ~2.5M metric tons of methanol production over the next five years. CEO Bruce Aitken says the new gas, combined with the 10-year agreement signed earlier this year, underpins long term production at its Motunui site.
