Three months after launching a same-day delivery service for local retail in San Francisco, eBay (EBAY) is bringing it to New York. Initial partners include Macy's, Target, Walgreens, and Best Buy. eBay has had a busy week: the company also formally announced a partnership with China's Xiu.com, struck a ticketing deal with AEG, and announced PayPal trials for a retail check-in/payment service and an e-commerce solution that relies on scanning QR codes in shop windows.
