Honda's (HMC +0.9%) sales chief in the U.S. sees the automaker staying on course, despite Hurricane Sandy, to deliver a 25% Y/Y sales gain in 2012. Though a good portion of the sales surge is attributable to production coming back on line after 2011 saw natural disasters in Asia derail it, new redesigns of key models that have been well-received by consumers also contributed to the sales boost.
