Since 1950, the S&P 500 has been green 77% of the time on the Wednesday before Turkey Day, says Jason Goepfert. The market has been higher 17 of the last 20 years from Wednesday through Dec. 3. Last year, was a major exception, with nearly a 5% drubbing during Thanksgiving week (preluding a sizable December rally).
