Beckman Coulter (BEC) has received second-round takeover offers, including one from an alliance of Blackstone (BX) and TPG Capital and another consisting of Apollo Global Management and Carlyle Group. The medical diagnostics firm has a market valuation of at least $5B, which would make it one of the largest leveraged buyouts since the credit crisis.
