Responding to SA contributor Ian Bezek, Yongye International (YONG -4.5%) says its growth story is not too good to be true. Bezek's conclusions are based on "inadequate research and a number of misunderstandings," Yongye says, noting that over-farmed Chinese soil reacts differently to its fertilizer than the California soil used in the study cited by Bezek.
