Techs are in for a rough ride today (XLK -0.6%) after disappointing results from Cisco (CSCO -12.9%) and Akamai (AKAM -15.4%). Stifel Nicolaus, one of three firms to cut its ratings on Cisco to hold from buy, cites a "structural change occurring in the industry with pricing pressure being exerted by HP (HPQ) and Juniper (JNPR)... leading to a "permanent change in gross margins."
