Uncertainty about the fiscal cliff isn’t hurting demand for cars and trucks, at least not yet, Ford’s (F) global sales and marketing chief says. As customers roll aging rattletraps into dealerships - and with cars averaging 11 years old, the U.S. fleet has never been older - they’re discovering comparable new vehicles are significantly more fuel efficient. Analysts expect relatively strong November sales, up ~12% Y/Y.
