Japanese stocks are higher in early trading on the back of a strong performance for U.S. markets overnight. The Nikkei Average gained 0.7% to 9,370, as the dollar regained the ¥82 level and helped lead exporters higher: Hitachi (HTHIY.PK +2.3%), Advantest ATE +3%), Toyota (TM +1.7%), Honda (HMC +_2.2%), Mazda MZDAY.PK +4%).
