Post-election, small business owners turn their most pessimistic since Q3 2010, according to the Wells Fargo Small Business Index. The gauge dove 28 points to -11 in a survey conducted Nov. 12-16. "This is an eye-opening drop in optimism," says Wells' Marc Bernstein.

These are the same clowns that clogged the runway at Logan on Election Day to salute Mitt Romney's triumphant victory over Kenyan Marxism. Their judgment is highly suspect.

Mr. Robertson. They aren't clowns even if they hoped for change.

    I'm one of them.

The Democrats are the party of big government and big business. The Republicans make nice-nice towards small business during campaigns--and certainly Romney did that, but, after elections, they team up with the Democrats to make big government bigger and do nothing to prevent big businesses from squashing little ones.

Therefore, the small business owner knows he's on his own with Republicans in charge but he's got a target on his back with Democrats in charge.

    Hence no hope for change.

But we have this to look forward to:

You miss my point. Lots of Romney folks were sure that that Mitt would win even though the polls were consistently pointing to an Obama win. If you really thought Mitt would win (putting aside why you wanted him to win) you were probably influenced by self-dealers on Fox who fed you wrong information. Do you have any idea how much money Karl Rove made in the election even though he ended up blowing through several hundred million dollars?

no, we just placed our faith in the hands of americans. karl rove is a joke and so is fox. just because i believe in capitalism and that life isn't fair doesn't make me an o'reilly cheerleader.

Romney tried to tell the public but all the intellectuals (Liberals) believe socialism is the way. Way to go Barry! As I said before, welcome to the US of Europe

Fixing the budget, or the cliff, won't be painless, no matter how it's done. Essentially it involves austerity one way or another. the EU experience. I expect the market to pop on a deal and fall on the reality.
