U.S. and European regulators handling separate antitrust probes of Google (GOOG) will be meeting next week, sources tell the WSJ. The report comes shortly after Larry Page and other Google execs met with the FTC about a possible settlement, amidst reports the agency is unsure it can win a case related to its most serious antitrust concerns. The FTC appears set to make a decision on how to proceed by year's end, whereas the EU might take longer.
