Facebook (FB) is reportedly in talks to acquire Whatsapp, whose mobile messaging service has 100M daily active users. Any deal would fit into Facebook's attempts to increase its mobile revenues, with Whatsapp being the No. 2 paid app in Apple's U.S. store. However, it's worth noting that Whatsapp co-founder Jan Koum has said that "people starting companies for a quick sale are a disgrace to the valley."
