Citigroup (C) quickly erases a loss of nearly 1% as word of positive comments from CLSA's Mike Mayo filters out. Talking about a breakup of the bank, Mayo calculates $52 as a sum-of-the-parts valuation.

    Finally, a smart guy who express what everybody know:
    Like HPQ, the sum of C parts should be MUCH HIGHER than the whole
    furthermore, a breakup of the group would create a smaller units that would probably please the regulator as the "too big to fail" would be a little bit smaller...
