Goldman Sachs (GS -0.8%) says it may lose as much as $3.4B more than it anticipated due to legal problems growing out of the financial crisis. Of all banks announcing potential losses in legal proceedings beyond their litigation reserves, only JPMorgan Chase (JPM -1.8%) has issued a higher figure ($4.5B).

    BAC isn't reserving adequately. Everybody is suing them, and a lot of the plaintiffs are going to win.
