Alcatel-Lucent (ALU -0.9%) is close to naming the i-banks that will handle a €1.4B ($1.8B) debt refinancing, Reuters reports. With Alcatel now sporting just $2.6B in equity and Moody's having downgraded the telecom equipment firm's credit rating to B3, the interest rates will probably be steep. Alcatel has €2.3B in debt maturing over the next 3 years.
