Target's (TGT -0.3%) partnership with Neiman Marcus only created a minor buzz in the fashion world and a slight ripple in sales after it launched last weekend, according to early reports. Citibank's Deborah Weinswig thinks bad execution by Target is partially to blame for the low traffic numbers. The rebuttal from the company is the venture is much more than a one-day shopping event and online business was strong.
