Asharq Al-Awsat and Al Jazeera report a negotiator has met with rebel leaders to declare Gaddafi's willingness to step down and leave the country in return for his and his family's wealth and safety.

    The aftermarkets are quiet,maybe it's a false rumor. In fact, spy and qqqq are even lower in aftermarket trading

    They should let he and his family go but only after he turns over all his money to Libya.

    Rumor has it rebels have rejected the offer. I suspect he will flee next. Though might make for a drop in oil...the following power vacuum and subsequent battle as to who will be in charge may make for a long term issue.
