Molycorp's (MCP +3.5%) stock price has lagged since its February secondary offering despite the strong surge in rare earth commodity prices, but a J.P. Morgan report says shares are bound to catch up. "If we assumed current rare earth prices just stayed flat, MCP's NPV would be $215/share and our 2014 EPS would be $38."

The 2014 earnings of $38/share is right in line with my calculated earnings of $39/share. If the REE market does not fall then MCP could be valued at $586 in the future (P/E of 15)
