Morgan Stanley identifies stock "laggards" that have trailed their sectors by at least 10% over the past six months or 20% over the past year. Among them: DAL, BAC, AKS, PEP, MUR, MSFT, TLB. It claims a strategy of buying laggards would have resulted in a 60% gain since January 2007, better than the S&P 500.
