I'm more concerned, as a past CYS investor, for where the money came for this special dividend. Aren't they required to be paying 90% of their net out to shareholders regularlym, as part of the 1940 Investment Act requirements related to averting double taxation? I understand special dividends in other sectores, but not in REITs.

I agree Kenny. I too sold my shares about a month ago, now a Special Dividend? I think we got skunked.
