Industry figures are expected to confirm that U.S. sales of Diet Coke (KO) overtook Pepsi-Cola (PEP) for the first time, making Diet Coke the country's No. 2 carbonated soft drink behind Coca-Cola. It would mark a major coup for The Coca-Cola Company in its long-running rivalry with PepsiCo.

Pepsi is one of the worst run companies in the US.

I sold my shares after I realized how fast Coke was taking market share. Soda is declining in sales, however last year most of the decline was in Pepsi. Pepsi seemed to stop investing in its largest namesake product. A product I might add that is one of the best cash cows in product history.

Now Diet Coke is overtaking Pepsi Cola as the number 2 drink in the market. It isn't politically correct to criticize a female CEO so this will play out in the following manner.

Pepsi will receive a takeout bid from a European company as the dollar drops. It will result in a reduction of good jobs in the US while pathetic politicians sit by idly. The pathetic CEO will get a big sweetened buyout and PEP as a company will be history.

I could be wrong but that is what I see happening and the train appears to be gaining speed.
