A consortium led by Siris Capital Group agrees to acquire TNS (TNS), a provider of data communications and interoperability technology, in a deal valued at $862M including debt. Siris is offering $21/share in cash, representing a 44% premium over TNS's closing price of $14.56 yesterday. TNS may solicit acquisition proposals from third parties for a 30-day "go-shop" period.
