Hatteras Financial (HTS) is off just 0.2% following the big cut in its dividend, but the stock fell 1.1% in the regular session as wary sellers sniffed out the bigger-than-expected reduction. The current price of $26.39 is 10.7% below Sept. 30's book value, but the math of shrunken net interest spreads says further cuts may be necessary.

    Does it make sense that the current price is so far below the book value?

    I think this quarter's results will begin to announce the pain of agency mreits. I am still however in for the long haul, just in a reduced position.

     

    I like hybrids like MTGE TWO, but still hold NLY ARR AGNC
