A new Silicon Image (SIMG) chip for wirelessly transmitting video from mobile devices to large displays (usually TVs) could be a big opportunity for the company, thinks Needham. How did the video get into that mobile device first? Picking from the spectrum (airwaves)? Why not make the TV itself pick it up (and they and DVDP etc. already do!)? Introduce technology for the sake of Tech. without realizing how redundant things are!
