    All the doomsday prognosticators about this stock and its div and it still keeps churning it out....and right here in America too : D

    Art...you took the words out of my mouth! MO was supposedly "dead" years ago. Not only does it keep paying (and modestly increasing) the dividend, this year has been quite good for share value growth too.

    I wish they would have bumped up the dist date and paid it the 31st to help us all out. Can't complain with consistency though.

    Has been a great investment since the $22 per share price not to mention the investments now in PM , KRFT , and MDLZ. Have been very satisfied.

    Have owned MO for more than 30 years and am very comfortably retired thanks in part to this investment. Every time its demise was predicted I added to my position, so I always welcomed the naysayers, lawyers, advisers and pundits pointing to all the reasons why one should not buy the stock.
