Wal-Mart (WMT) says its unit in India received a notice from a government agency of a probe into allegations the company broke foreign investment rules. The politically-motivated inquiry fixates on a SEC disclosure from Wal-Mart in which it acknowledges spending $25M in lobbying of which a portion went to "enhanced market access" in India.
