The FTC's probe of Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) is expected to end this year without any antitrust violations found, the NY Post reports. The probe has yielded plenty of drama, with some commissioners apparently considering Google guilty of abusing its search dominance to promote other services and hinder rival ad platforms. But others have reportedly opposed a suit, and the agency is said to be uncertain a case will succeed. Reuters recently reported at least one Google rival is now turning to the DOJ for help.
