GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) says the FDA has approved its Fluarix Quadrivalent flu vaccine. Fluarix Quadrivalent is the first intramuscular vaccine to cover against four influenza strains, and GSK plans to make it available in time for the 2013-14 flu season. Healthcare providers traditionally order flu vaccines a year in advance of each flu season.
