SandRidge Energy (SD -4%) is cut to Sell from Hold at Canaccord, after shares have rallied on the "unfounded expectation" of a takeover. Also, market indications suggest the current clearing price for acreage in the heart of the Mississippian play is ~$1,500/acre including associated production; a Permian sale does not improve SD's long-term financial standing, the firm says.

With a payout of 21/2 years on the average well in the Mississippian, it seems SD is under valued. With an estimated 1500 locatiions for wells.
