Armour Residential (ARR) gains 0.9% AH after announcing monthly distributions of $0.08 for each of the next 3 months, down from $0.09 last quarter. The board also authorizes up to $100M in stock repurchases, about 5% of the float.

    This is good - however, the trend has shown that the dividends decrease by .01 every quarter - not happy with that trend..The stock repurchase could turn this around..

    ARR hopes you will not SELL because of declining dividends. Is it just a coincidence they announced the share buyback at the same time? I wonder.

    Well....the stock buyback helps "confirm" that there is not likely to be a secondary offering in the "near" future. That is something at least....
