Helped by a sharp drop in food prices (food and energy are included in inflation when deemed helpful), Turkish inflation drops to 3.99% in March, the lowest level on record. This may allow at least a temporary cessation in tighter monetary policy. Shares rally: TUR +2.6%, TKF +2.3%.
