Oracle (ORCL) guides on its FQ2 call (webcast) for FQ3 revenue growth of 1%-5% Y/Y and EPS of $0.64-$0.68, in-line with a consensus for 4.3% growth and $0.66. New software license/cloud subscription growth is expected to be anywhere from 3%-13%, and hardware product sales flat to -10% (a decent improvement, though easier comps help). Engineered systems unit bookings rose 70% Q/Q, and Larry Ellison claims share was gained against SAP in Europe. Shares +1.8% AH. (FQ2 results: I, II)
