    " food-safety affair "

eating such is not concerned with one's health. Though I was impressed this evening walking through Gubei Carrefour's McDonalds some three piece suit was making what seemed to be a marketing or sales proposal (to his boss?).

    Hey it is very clean!

GMOs are banned in India, but ok in the US. However, no one has ever had a problem due to GMOs. It is just a precautionary measure for what could happen. Pharmaceuticals are no better than GMOs. We don't know what side effects such drugs could have 50 or 80 years down the road.

Oh, and 97% of all corn grown in the US is genetically modified.
