Symmetricom (SYMM -8.2%) slips after lowering its FQ2 earnings and revenue guidance, due in part to weak U.S. government spending. It now sees an EPS loss of $0.05 to $0.11 on revenue of $46M to $49M, below its previous guidance of $55M to $62M. Symmetricom provides products, like atomic clocks, that help keep time for the communications, defense and IT industries.
