Ford (F) says a 18% gain in sales for its Lincoln brand would be a "good year" as it looks to re-invigorate the brand. The bet on Lincoln is an important test for the automaker with it rubbing shoulders with some formidable competition in the luxury segment as the MKZ model debuts. I personally believe styling is the most important feature of an automobile these days...The quality level and features available are so close in all companies that they must have great looks and styling to draw the consumer to them. I hope the Lincoln Motor Company thoroughly realizes this. Cadillac has done a good job in this sector, not to mention the foreign guys.
