Alcoa (AA +0.4%) signs a long-term agreement with Siemens (SI) to supply blades and vanes for a range of industrial gas turbines; financial terms were not disclosed. AA parts will be used in, among others, the Siemens F-Class turbine which generates enough power to supply the energy needs of a city of 300K residents.

If AA signs an agreement with SI then was this a new contract or a contract extension? If a new contract, then as always, new contracts bolster profits. Also, who supplied SI before? or if this was a re-signed contract with new terms and prices, then most likely a neutral sideways move which really means nothing for share value.
