Anadarko (APC) and Eni (E) agree to coordinate development of common natural gas reservoirs off the coast of Mozambique, and plan to build the world’s second-largest liquefied natural gas plant to start exporting fuel in 2018. Mozambique’s offshore fields may hold as much as 250T cubic ft. of gas, and the LNG plant could have an eventual capacity of 50M tons/year.
