Bidders including Ocwen Financial (OCN -0.8%) and Carrington Holding have jumped into the auction for Goldman Sachs' (GS -2.1%) Litton mortgage-servicing unit - a sale that could bring $500M and includes GS financing 85% for the buyer. Goldman bought Litton for about $430M in 2007, when servicing looked like a much better business.
