Georgia Gulf (GGC -1.8%) shares have recovered after an 8% drop prompted by its force majeure declaration on polyvinyl chloride shipments, following a similar declaration by one of its ethylene suppliers. Despite the production hitches, the company expects rising chemical demand in North America.
