A number of defense companies, including Lockheed Martin (LMT +0.4%) and BAE Systems (BAESY.PK +2.7%), are planning to submit proposals over the next few days for a £1.5B contract to replace Britain’s military air traffic infrastructure. The contract, one of the largest military support services contracts, is known as Project Marshall and is expected to be awarded by the Ministry of Defence in 2015.
