Honda (NYSE:HMC) December U.S. sales: +26.2% to 132,774 vehicles, short of the consensus estimate of analysts which called for a 32% rise in sales coming off of last year's natural disaster-influenced sales total. The Honda division saw sales jump 26.8% Y/Y to 116,740, led by +60% gains for both Accord and Civic. Acura division sales rose 22.1% to 16,034, with the RDX model a major contributor. (PR)
