Steady as she goes: Over the last four Decembers, Nordstrom (JWN +3.2%) has knocked out a remarkably consistent streak of December same-store sale growth marks (7.4%, 8.4%, 8.7%, 8.6%) that easily outpaces the gains seen by higher-profile retailers such as Target, Costco, Gap, and Limited.
