Covanta Energy Corporation (CVA +1%) and Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE +4.5%) announced an agreement earlier today to co-develop compressed natural gas stations at select CVA facilities throughout the U.S. The company currently operates over 40 facilities that convert everyday trash into clean, renewable energy. Each station will provide compressed natural gas for a minimum of 30 refuse trucks a day and depending on the location, will also be accessible to the public for CNG fueling.
