Boeing (BA) and Lockheed (LMT) lose out on an $11B deal to supply fighter jets to India, FT reports, and the Indian air force will choose between France’s Dassault (DASTF.PK) and the multinational Eurofighter Typhoon. The decision is a blow to the U.S., which strongly lobbied India to buy its aircraft as payback for the landmark 2008 Indian-U.S. civil nuclear deal.

India may regret that move when the dollar index is at 20 and their purchasing power would have been epic. Then again...there's the Euro.
