Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE -1%) is initiated at Lake Street Capital with a Buy rating and $23 price target, suggesting 68% upside from current levels. The firm expects the "mega-trend" transition to natural gas from diesel fuel to result in a tipping point in demand for CLNE, and foresees a $1B revenue company generating more than $400M annually in EBITDA. Gasoline & diesel continues to rise in price and both business and consumers are looking for alternatives such as NG. Clne is well managed, meets goals and continues to ink big contracts with big players in transportation industry. I'm bullish on Clne and believe a $23 price target is not only realistic but a tad conservative.

Trainer: I agree with you and have a 27~32 price range in 2~3years. I think the CAFE standards is going to push ahead on the EPA mandated emissions due now for NEW equipment and soon a possible retro-fit. Upside with the current Administration but the loss of the Greenie Girl that headed the EPA this weekend means we MAY have to push out price/earnings estimates depending on who fills the head of EPA seat in coming weeks.

Note I'm LONG (CLNE) (CHK) (GE) and (EXC) (FE) for other energy plays.

I agree that it will be an important signal if next occupant of vacant EPA seat is more accommodating to E & P. I am cautiously optimistic on this. After all, it would be hard for Admin to get to the dark side of Jackson.

Bill: If the rumor of her quitting because O wants to let Keystone go thru (more likely so much pressure on him from the states it is going thru) is a good thing to get the Canadian Oil Sands liquid rich materials. as this will take YEARS to actually get put in the oil also will be coming out/thru from SD in NEW pipelines going into Crushing OK. This in one slight worry in future but I'm not sure how close to happening or IF it will or if it would affect bottom line any...
