The United Arab Emirates oil minister says his country is likely to become a net importer of natural gas in the next few years, due to rising domestic demand. The UAE and its Persian Gulf neighbors may find their future energy needs even more pressing if World Bank forecasts for the impact of climate change on the region prove correct.
