China shares -2.3% following the hawkish tone in the PBOC Q1 monetary policy report. "Stabilizing prices and managing inflation expectations are critical," says the report which also say bank reserve requirement have no "absolute ceiling."

  • kudo's to PBOC, they're taking a page out of Volcker's playbook ! Beijing should impose a capital gains tax for flipping within 5 years and a non-occupancy tax if premises not filled 12 months after keys handed over. estimates of over 200 million units that are bought up, but not owner occupied & lying empty.
