Agnico-Eagle (AEM) is best positioned among gold miners to beat Q4 earnings estimates, according to CIBC analyst Alec Kodatsky, with Kinross (KGC), New Gold (NGD) and Yamana (AUY) also in good shape. But he says Barrick Gold (ABX) has "little breathing room" for operations issues, and IAMGOLD (IAG) has "no room for error" in meeting estimates.

Comparing Gold mining companies without keeping the relative or actual level of capitalization available for continuous comparison
to other companies along with the number of operating mines, short and long term debt, dividend and yield; is of little use to me or any investor who must keep both the big and substantially total picture in mind in order to make an investment.

Or in short, this kind of one line opinion is useless for real investors.

Projections based on actual company statistics and those actual relevant statistics are what matter.

You can do much, much better. Try again.

To make it easy on you, go read a Credit Suisse gold and/or gold company report, or gold sector report. You can pick a lot of good
facts out of any one of their reports; and extrapolate or project if
desired; otherwise known as providing an opinion based on any
    of those specific facts.

Or, opinions only matter if they are directly derived from known
facts; at least for any investor I know.

The synonym I know for seeking alpha is all knowing, or as much
as humanly practical; which absolutely depends on facts front and center.
