Lockheed Martin (LMT) is optimistic about selling its new coastal Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) to foreign countries even though the number of interested buyers has fallen to six or seven from 22, and despite Pentagon doubts about the LCS's survivability from a direct hit. Lockheed also reckons that in the coming years, it will be able to sell over 200 of the MH-60 maritime helicopters it makes with Sikorsky Aircraft (UTX).
